I have been acquainted with Aikens funeral home for a number of years, being a part of the Ballard/Miller family we have entrusted several family members to the care of Aikens. My in-laws Jack & Fannie Miller, brother in-law Jack Miller, My Mother Minnie Ballard, brother Carl "Hawk" Ballard and most recent February 2020 my Uncle Joe Ballard who was a military veteran. The staff was awesome! Handled everything with the VA (which was overwhelming), kept me informed, was always accommodating of my frequent changes. Their wealth of experience took care of the smallest of details, which I had overlooked. We will continue to use them in the future for our family needs as they arise.

From the first experience to the last detail, they were very accommodating to our needs and very sympathetic and supportive. It was a very difficult time for our family with my Mother. They were very patient and understanding to our needs. Unfortunately, this wasn’t my first time with the Aikens Family, they also took care of my Grandmother, Son and now my Mother. At a time when I was at my lowest I was able to rely on the team from Aikens. From our first arrangement meeting to walking out of their doors on our service day, they were top notch professionals from the receptionist to the owner herself. The amenities they offered for our service as well as the clergy and musicians was exemplary. This is a first class business , I’m glad I chose Aiken funeral home.
