Something in my heart led me to Aiken Funeral Home. I wanted to give my son the most beautiful and respectful service which was a celebration of his life. From the first point of contact, the Aiken family and staff treated me and my family with the utmost dignity and respect. When I first viewed my son before the service, I was so pleased with the way he looked. He looked like he was peacefully asleep. I could not have been more pleased. Everyone who attended the service, said it was a lovely service. Thank you again to the Aiken Family and Staff for making this experience one I sincerely appreciate. Losing my son, is the worst thing any parent can experience. However, you took my son under your care and presented him to me and his family in a very loving and caring manner. From start to finish Aikens Funeral home provided the most caring yet professional atmosphere for me to create the most beautiful service to celebrate the life of my Grandmother. Having never to have had to do this before and not even knowing where to start, Joe provided options that were set up in packages that were beautiful and made decision making super simple. Even was able to use their chapel, minster, and musicians. Options for extras such as pillows, urns, and other keepsakes also available. But the thing that impressed my family the most was how beautiful my Grandmother looked. She looked as tho she were asleep. I mean she looked like the definition of resting in peace and for that we are truly greatful.

They paid great care with preparing mom for the viewing, making her look very natural and peaceful. I would like to publicly thank Aikens Funeral Home for they’re service. From start to the finish the service was phenomenal. Ms.Cheryl showed gratitude & generosity as soon as we walked in her office. “Joe” one of the sweetest person I know, he had my mother looking so beautiful!! When he told me he would be dressing her & doing her makeup I almost had doubt, but once I saw her I could do nothing but hug & thank him with tears in my eyes.. They treat you like family & have been reaching out checking on me & my family! I thank you all for everything!

I have used Aikens funeral home for the burial process of 3 of my family members. Every time the staff were very professional, punctual, very caring & concerning of the feelings of my family & myself. They also checked on us several times throughout the weeks following the burial of our loved ones & might I add, all my deceased family members looked VERY VERY VERY nice as if they were sleeping in their caskets. I was very pleased with the overall service of Aikens funeral home.

Very satisfied with the service from the limos to the carrying of the body the viewing was amazing my husband just look like he was sleeping every detail fit in with my husband suit and flowers this was my first experiencing with burying someone but they made it easy and stress free definitely recommend akins
