Experiencing a death of a loved one is certainly not easy and then trying to arrange a funeral on top of that is hard. However, I must say, Aikens Funeral Home in Tampa, FL, made our planning process smooth for my family. From start to finish the staff is guiding you the whole way through. The Aikens Family(the atmosphere felt family oriented) assured us that they will be with us every step of the way, and they did just that! I may have called, text, and emailed like a hundred times lol, but they never made me feel as if I was a bother to them. Even when it was a slight minor bump in the road, they did all they could to smooth it over. The Aikens Family truly exemplify professionalism, dedication and hard work! I was very disappointed with the service I received from this funeral home during an already difficult and emotional time for my family.<br><br>Unfortunately, the funeral home did not keep the promises that were made to us, and there was a serious lack of communication among the staff. We often received conflicting information, which added unnecessary stress and frustration during the funeral arrangements.<br><br>The customer service was poor, and I did not feel that our needs and concerns were treated with the care and attention they deserved. Most concerning was the lack of compassion demonstrated by the funeral director. At a time when families are grieving and need understanding, patience, and sensitivity, I found the director to be insensitive to our needs and the circumstances we were facing.<br><br>Overall, I was not satisfied with the service provided. Families entrust funeral homes with one of the most difficult moments of their lives, and they deserve professionalism, compassion, clear communication, and follow-through. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.
