I was very disappointed with the service I received from this funeral home during an already difficult and emotional time for my family.<br><br>Unfortunately, the funeral home did not keep the promises that were made to us, and there was a serious lack of communication among the staff. We often received conflicting information, which added unnecessary stress and frustration during the funeral arrangements.<br><br>The customer service was poor, and I did not feel that our needs and concerns were treated with the care and attention they deserved. Most concerning was the lack of compassion demonstrated by the funeral director. At a time when families are grieving and need understanding, patience, and sensitivity, I found the director to be insensitive to our needs and the circumstances we were facing.<br><br>Overall, I was not satisfied with the service provided. Families entrust funeral homes with one of the most difficult moments of their lives, and they deserve professionalism, compassion, clear communication, and follow-through. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.

LaCheryl Aikens-Guzman, the owner, was also very supportive and compassionate, and her personal attention helped us feel reassured and cared for.<br><br>They were sensitive to our grief and showed genuine empathy throughout. By managing the timelines, requirements, and documentation so smoothly, they allowed us to focus on our family instead of the technical process. Their support meant a lot to me, it brought real relief during an overwhelming time, and I sincerely recommend them to any family needing thoughtful, dependable care.

If I could give more stars I would. I will forever be grateful for the excellent customer service and compassion Aikens had demonstrated. Me and my family hadn't a clue what we were doing as far as it went for funeral arrangements. After my fathers' passing away 7/30/2025 we scrambled to find a funeral establishment to help us. Aikens funeral is truly a blessing in disguise. We were guided through the whole process there were times where I felt overwhelmed making changes to times and dates for family members to attend either the funeral and/or the wake Aikens were more than accommodating. I would definitely recommend to anyone in need. Oh and staff were always professional and courteous. Thank you Aikens!

Aiken Funeral Home was very supportive when selecting arrangements. They provided knowledgeable services based on common practices, helping to make our decisions less stressful. AFH was flexible with scheduling to accommodate family's needs, especially those from out of state. Appreciative of their services, especially the kindness shown by the chauffeur. This Lady was most excellent.
