The staff at Aikens Funeral Home was extremely compassionate and professional. They made the process of planning for my father’s services so much easier and they stood with me and my family every step of the way. They honored him for his military service and he had the first class presentation he deserved. My father’s body was shipped to our hometown of Chicago, Illinois where he was laid to rest. Aikens did a wonderful job with his preservation and made sure that he arrived dressed just as we requested. We will be forever grateful for their superior service!

I have been acquainted with Aikens funeral home for a number of years, being a part of the Ballard/Miller family we have entrusted several family members to the care of Aikens. My in-laws Jack & Fannie Miller, brother in-law Jack Miller, My Mother Minnie Ballard, brother Carl "Hawk" Ballard and most recent February 2020 my Uncle Joe Ballard who was a military veteran. The staff was awesome! Handled everything with the VA (which was overwhelming), kept me informed, was always accommodating of my frequent changes. Their wealth of experience took care of the smallest of details, which I had overlooked. We will continue to use them in the future for our family needs as they arise.

Our family used Aikens Funeral Home for the burial of our loved one, the staff at Aikens worked very had to help us through this difficult time, they walked us through the process step by step and explained to us all the different services they provided. Our loved one looked so handsome in the casket, the care, professionalism and personable job they did was amazing. Miss Cheryl and her Staff were more than Amazing. They made the whole experience of preparing a Memorial Service for my Dad with Professionalism and Kindness. I am so Thankful for Everything they have done to help me and my family get through the hardest time of dealing with a loss and making the arrangement experience as less stressful as possible. Wow, what an experience with this funeral home!!!! They were so accommodating, very professional, clean, smell good, very helpful in all areas. The way they handle my family was like nothing I’ve ever experienced. From them being knowledgeable in the things we didn’t know, they helped us organize the whole process. Even the sound system was great, and the projector screen was very convenient to show the slide show. You even had a where we could use a usb drive so that the video would run smoothly. One of the best let’s were that for the ones that couldn’t attend, you provided a live stream so everyone could view it. From the pricing, to arranging the funeral service, the repast. I would recommend this company to any of my family members, friends, anyone. Thank you for making this experience such an easy transition!!!!! You guys went above and beyond and our family thank you

Ms. Cheryl Aikens and her staff went above and beyond to provide service to our family after the loss of my brother. They were sensitive to our needs and concerns during the pandemic and although our service was a modest one, they were professional, courteous, and friendly at every turn. It was a real benefit to have the service streamed virtually for the family and friends who could not be present physically. This is the second time that I have used their services and I would not hesitate to do so again.

In a time of mourning Cheryl did an excellent job handling my grandmothers arrangements. Very timely/prompt service and communicated with us throughout the entire process. These situations are never easy but I was at least comfortable knowing that my grandmother was in good hands.

Worst funeral home on the planet! Don't let them near your deceased loved ones!! Liars, incompetent, deceitful and disrespectful staff and substandard service! I have no respect for Cheryl, her staff and the owner. Our immediate family unanimously decided not to use their funeral home in Tampa to handle the services of our terminally ill loved one. They totally devastated our family members and they are still upset to this day by the way Cheryl and her staff handled our deceased loved one's funeral service that occurred 2 years ago. Never again. She made no attempt to resolve the complaint we made, nor did she bother to contact myself nor my aunt to resolve the issue, she unprofessionally contacted an outside party that had nothing to do with our complaint. Shady! Never pay them up front to handle you loved ones either. Video tape and record every contact you have with Cheryl and her staff!

Horrible. Can't get any help finding my mother in laws grave! If the grass wasn't to my knees I could find her myself. Today was the worst day. On her birthday we couldn't find her or get help!
