Thank you to Aikens Funeral Home for their support during this time of stress for my family. Experiencing the loss of a loved one who was cherished and honored not only through family, friends, her beloved City of Tampa, Florida brought continued awareness to the many ways a single act can make a huge impact on others. Aikens provided consistent direction and acts of comfort during and after by providing resource materials after our business relationship ended. Nothing is ever perfect but this experience shall always be remembered.

The service and personnel was outstanding. The reason I am giving 4 stars is because of the viewing/ visitation room that we were in. The room was the smallest they had with only room for 4 people to sit. The family that traveled 300 miles had no where to sit,plus I have numerous coworkers that came to pay their respects. No one could sit and talk with me due to the availability of seating. I have never been to a viewing where there were no sitting available. I was very disappointed in the viewing session. Again the service from the personnel was on point and definitely 5 stars.

We understand how important it is for family and friends — especially those traveling long distances — to feel comfortable and have adequate space during visitation. Your disappointment regarding seating and room size is certainly understandable. Room selections are typically based on anticipated attendance discussed during the planning process, but we recognize that attendance can sometimes exceed expectations. Your feedback is valuable and will be reviewed internally as we continue evaluating how to best accommodate families and their guests. I appreciate the follow up with Aikens a couple of months after my Father's funeral. They called and texted checking up on me and my family. I have never heard of a funeral business who did that. I was touched to know that their service didn't end the day of the funeral. Thanks Aikens for all you do. May God continue to see your Business through.
